The customer contacted Gestión de Compras to outsource part of a set which they were producing by themselves.
Customer’s requirements
Our customer wanted to reduce the cost of final product, by means of outsourcing some parts (washers and hex nuts, exactly) of final article on more competitive markets.
The producer had to reach the required quality standards and have enough production capability to attend customer’s demands.
The production process had to be duly audited in plant by an independent Certificator Agent assigned by customer.
Offered services / Results
After a hard source selection process, Gestión de Compras started to supply the required items through one of our represented Asian companies, once accepted drawings and samples by the customer. Through our prices, the customer achieved an important cost saving on final product.
The production process was successfully audited by “Bureau Veritas”, with the assistance of our staff in plant. Currently, this certification is duly renewed every two years.
We are now supplying these parts in a regular way, with annual volumes of around 1,5 million euros.
Customer’s satisfaction is absolute as regards service, price and quality of supplied items.
