Plastic parts

Gestión de Compras has the facilities to design and manufacture any plastic part through injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, rotational molding, and so on.

Process of plastic parts

· Injection

Is the most common way to manufacture plastic parts. Injection molding can be performed with a host of plastic materials and it is ideal for producing high volumes of the same object. Also this process permit make foaming parts. Automotive parts, containers, lids, toys, medical instruments, tools, etc… are manufactured by this process.

· Extrusion

High volume manufacturing process in which raw plastic material is melted and formed into a continuous profile. With some modifications is possible make foam parts by this process. Extrusion produces a huge range of plastic parts such as window frames, tubes, pipes and fittings, films and sheets, fences, insolation parts.

· Blow molding

Common industrial process which hollow plastic parts are formed. One of the item manufactured by this method is bottles and recipients which are widely used in our daily life.

· Rotational molding

Also called rotomoulding process, it is method for molding hollow plastic objects by placing finely divided particles in a hollow mold that is rotated about two axes, exposing it to heat and then to cold. Products that can be manufactured using rotational molding include storage tanks, furniture, road signs and bollards, airplane parts, toys, playground slides, roofs…

Products

The properties of the plastics make it very useful in our daily life, so we can find plastic pieces almost everything around us in automotive parts, construction materials, sanitation, food packaging, toys, household…

In Gestión de Compras we are experts supplying plastic parts such as boxes, foldable crates, foldable containers and foam food containers. Moreover, pieces with drawings specifications can be supplied also.

Materials

Depending on its composition and properties, we can distinguish several types of plastic such as EPS (expanded polystyrene), EPP (expandable polypropylene), PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride), PP (Polypropylene), PS (Polystyrene), ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene), PA (Polyamide or Nylon), PMMA (Poly (methyl methacrylate) or acrylic), etc.
