Rotational molding is a technology developed for plastic molding, specializing in the manufacture of hollow products. Although at first glance rotomolding may appear to be a simple process, it is actually very complicated. However, it is also highly versatile and practically unlimited in terms of shapes and products.

In Gestión de Compras we have 20 years designing molds for rotomolding. According to the needs and characteristics of the final product, we develop the mold using the technology that best suits the expected result: machining, electroplating or casting. Materials

Tolerances

Dimensional tolerances in the manufacture of molds depend mainly on the result to be achieved, as well as on the method used to produce it.

 

The thickness of parts produced by plastic rotational molds can vary from a few millimeters (minimum 1.3 mm) up to 10 cm in products with double layer or foamed materials.
