In Gestión de Compras we design, develop and manufacture plastic rotational molds for multiple sectors.
Rotational molds
Rotational molding is a technology developed for plastic molding, specializing in the manufacture of hollow products. Although at first glance rotomolding may appear to be a simple process, it is actually very complicated. However, it is also highly versatile and practically unlimited in terms of shapes and products.
In Gestión de Compras we have 20 years designing molds for rotomolding. According to the needs and characteristics of the final product, we develop the mold using the technology that best suits the expected result: machining, electroplating or casting. Taking into account the technical characteristics of the final part, we develop single-cavity molds, multi-cavity molds, biaxial molds, thin-wall or double-wall molds, sliding molds, etc.
With state-of-the-art facilities and an expert team dedicated to each step of the manufacturing process, we take full advantage of the process capabilities to offer our customers customized, high quality solutions. From initial design to final delivery, our ability to handle large-scale projects ensures exceptional results and fast turnaround times.
Applications
From the aerospace industry to the automotive and telecommunications industries, the use of both large and small rotomolded parts is constantly expanding due to their numerous benefits.
- Automotive industry: due to its low weight, durability and cost-effectiveness. In interior and exterior components, rotational molding offers versatile solutions.
- Leisure: thanks to its ability to produce durable and attractive parts. Many toys are manufactured using this technique.
- Tanks, reservoirs and containers: for storing fuel, oil, chemicals, water, etc. Durability and strength needed for industrial and agricultural applications.
- Storage and Transportation Accessories: Medical cases, garbage cans, packaging and industrial pallets are some examples of rotomolded products.
- Marine Industry: Everything from military ships to recreational canoes use rotomolded parts because of their corrosion resistance and ability to withstand harsh marine conditions.
- Other Innovative Uses: The scope of rotomolding goes beyond that, being used in the manufacture of fashion mannequins, housings, manhole covers and billboards.
