Gestión de Compras has the means to get the parts manufactured by progressive die stamping.
Process of progressive die stamping
Progressive die stamping is a multi-stage sheet metal forming process, where the final shape is given in two or more sequential operations. Those operations can be blanking, forming, drawing, piercing, tapping, staking, etc. Each station along the path performs a specific operation simultaneously each time the die descends until the part is complete.
To carry out this process a strip of sheet metal is pushed by the feeding system through all of the stations of a progressive stamping die. The final station is typically one in which the finished component is cut from the strip of metal that transported it through the press.
Progressive die stamping is a process very cost-effective and widely used for mass production of stamped parts which require complicated in-press operations manufacture, because it can be completely automated and have a high dimensional accuracy. It is specially used to produce large series of small and medium parts.
Tolerances
In addition to a high production rate, progressive die stamping process, offers high precision and quality products. Tolerances in this process are very low and it’s depend on the part, design and material.
We work with the customer to define the appropriate production parameters and develop the desired part with the customer requirements.
Standard and certificates
Our factories have the most demanding certifications for customers to ensure product quality as:
- ISO9001, TS16949 and ISO 14001
- DIN6930 for stamping tolerances.
- OHSAS 18001. Security and safety.
