Blow molds

Blow molds are ideal for producing one-piece hollow plastic parts with thin walls, such as bottles and similar containers.

The main feature of this type of molding plastic parts is its high productivity. Being a very fast process, gives very good results in the production of a large number of pieces. But there are other advantages in the use of blow molds, for example the tooling is less expensive than other molds, it accepts a lot of materials (PVC, polystyrene, methacrylate, PET, Bakelite, epoxy resins, amino resins), it is well suited to low and high production rates, the cycle is faster, it allows to make one-piece plastic parts and single or double walled…

Blow molds are transported by corresponding mechanism into blow molding machines. Blow molding machines are formed by the blow mold, a heating and cooling system, which is necessary for its proper functioning, and an exhaust system that brings the piece to the outside when it is already in a solid state and a stable temperature. The exhaust system must have certain specific characteristics, such as design and power in order to no damage the piece.
